Terms of service

Calendo is an online booking service provided by Salovuori Mikko Heikki ("we"). These terms apply to businesses and individuals who create a Calendo account ("you"). People who only book a meeting through a booking page do not need an account and these terms do not bind them.

You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for keeping it secure and for everything done with your Calendo account. You must give correct contact details. You may not use the service unlawfully, send unsolicited marketing through it or try to disturb its operation.

The Aloitus plan is free. Kasvu (EUR 8 per user per month) and Pro (EUR 13 per user per month) are monthly subscriptions. Users are the account holder and each active team member; when users are added or removed, the change is prorated on the next invoice. Enterprise is an annual agreement from EUR 3,000 per year, agreed separately. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the rate in force (currently 25.5%). Paid plans are billed in advance each month through our payment provider Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is then changed to Aloitus. Paid periods are not refunded unless the law requires it. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance.

If text message reminders are enabled, they are sent only to phone numbers given by the people who book. Text messages are charged by usage at cost, per message segment at the price on the pricing page, excluding VAT. On Pro, usage is added to the monthly subscription invoice after the month; on Enterprise it is invoiced under the agreement. A monthly safety cap may limit the number of messages.

Your bookings and settings belong to you. You can export them and delete your data at any time. For personal data of people who book, you are the controller and we are the processor; our data processing agreement applies. More in our privacy policy.

Calendo uses Cloudflare for hosting, Google or Microsoft for calendars, Meet or Teams links and e-mail sent from your own account, Stripe for payments and Twilio for text messages. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their outages.

We aim to keep Calendo available and to fix faults promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may develop and change the service. We will tell you about significant changes affecting paid plans in advance.

We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost bookings, lost profit or damage caused by third-party services. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the damage. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

You may stop using Calendo and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. After an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.

We will announce changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel before they take effect.

Finnish law applies. Disputes are primarily settled by negotiation, then in the district court of the provider's domicile; consumers may also use the district court of their own domicile. Contact: mikko@calendo.com.
